Let us recognize that multilinguals bring a wealth of knowledge to our classrooms. A lack of English proficiency is not a reflection of a lack of intelligence or potential. Instead, it is an opportunity to build on their unique strengths & talents as they acquire a new language. #EduSky

Every child that reaches for a book should be met with “windows AND mirrors.” If readers don’t find themselves and their lived experiences in the books they read, they may find it difficult to connect with reading and to forge a love for reading. #EduSky

"Language access" refers to ensuring that students who are not yet proficient in English can fully participate in school activities, allowing them to understand and engage with the educational system regardless of language abilities.
