This is weirdly the second time I get to compare Jason's narrative of a layoff with my first-hand observations. By my knowledge, Last Sentinel was never pitched as a GTA competitor, even internally. Maybe it was by others? Feels like SEO for the story to me though.

I saw The Odyssey and as usual the chuds are so off. First of all, I loved it, and I'm not a typically huge Nolan fan. But somehow they took all the gore and sex out of HOMER. Like they made stories about how awesome fucking and fighting are to have no fucking and moralize fighting?

Late to the party here but Backrooms was GREAT. I didn't expect the story to be so interpretive. I'm still thinking over the implications of a few things. Visually though, wow. It's so nice to see good actors on actual sets with real lighting and superb shot composition.
Flight back to LA canceled, now I get to bounce around the US to try and get home. But HEY at least my library hold for Dungeon Crawler Carl is ready and I got this nice bowl of breakfast slop to enjoy.
Books don't make me great at singing Linkin Park or doing karate kicks.

I get that cuts are unpopular but I can't even see any business logic in this move. Seems like an indescriminate number plopped on id because they just shipped. Imagine tossing an in-house engine that's shipped multiple successful titles because of "convenient" timing.
