In the olden days we used to hand total unaccountable political power to people because their ancestors were successful warlords, as opposed to our sensible, modern system where we hand total unaccountable political power to people whose parents were racist landords or racist emerald mine magnates.
This just isn't true though is it. No one wants anything lower quality, but the cheaper side of things has become unavoidable because of the cost of living. The drive in decline comes from those at the top thirsty to squeeze every drop from everyone.
