Washoe County NV officals expanded their evacations quite a bit today, large portions of the area just North of Reno/Sparks are now being advised to prepare to evacatute. Including portions of Spanish Springs and Pyarmid Hwy.

For Nothern California folks, keep an eye on the Gann fire in Calaveras County, it's already awake and moving early this morning. A large evacation area to the outskirts of the town of Copperopolis.

@joshchafetz.bsky.social @richardgunther.com one other note semi related-I was able to get YTTV to authenticate for ESPN Unlimited, but what a mess it made with my Disney Plus bundle. Had to cancel them all, then resubscribe via Hulu, the Disney portal wouldn't let me subscribe to both.

Per reports from the Weather channel, The group caught in the avalanche was a group of local moms. Sky looks better today, hopefully allowing for helicopters and planes to assist.
