gamergate positioned itself as being "anti-censorship," but they werent actually being censored, they were experiencing extremely mild media criticism with no legalistic call for bans, (many such cases!) and they didn't have to call payment processors etc. they just sent bomb threats & csam to women

Dworkin was parodied a lot for saying that the pornography of her era was clearly influenced by fascist imagery, and someone smarter than me needs to write about how the fascists of our age are clearly influenced by porn.
I think the porn-critical strain of feminism is most convincing when it seeks to treat porn as roughly equal in influence to other forms of media. But the sex radicals insist on a porn exception: the implausible notion that *this* media, and *only* this media, is influence-free.
