Honestly is anyone surprised? I'm not. This is what you get when you elect a criminal who wants to be king to be President. Project 2025 told us exactly what was going to happen. And here we are.

The Heritage Foundation asserts that women never needed sports in the first place. To prove that Title IX has become a tool of “feminist social engineering.” To demonstrate that women don’t need sports and that “clubs, intramurals, and exercise classes” is enough. open.substack.com/pub/jesspipe...
Give Them an Inch...
And they'll take away women's sports...

Convo at the grocery store: “Do you ride your bike every day?” “Most days.” “I see you with it. In my country, I wasn’t allowed to ride bikes. Because woman. I’m going to learn to ride. When I do, I’m going to tell you.” — Thanks for telling me your story, Bahar. (I live for these moments.)
stickin' it to da Man with our solar panels In just a little over a month we've banked about 400kWh for use later in the year. The only electrical bill we'll be paying from now on is the "Connection Fee" of $7.50 (which is a default charge). (This only shows today's usage, not the overall totals.)
Texas got hemp wrong because this law hurts local businesses without giving Texans more freedom. We should trust adults to make informed decisions, backed by strong testing and clear labels instead of unnecessary bans.
The Russian Republicans have never done anything to help the American people and their families. They are only interested in Enriching themselves and that’s it.
Stop worrying about 2028, if we don't show up and VOTE them out in November, it won't matter.
Texas' ranking was dragged down by limited access to obstetricians, midwives and pediatric care in a new WalletHub analysis. bit.ly/3Rr7ujy
Cool, cool. We’re basically out of ATACMS and PrSM, and we used half our *global* TLAM supply… all for the Strait of Hormuz to still be closed?
Voted 🗳️ Don’t forget to take your ballots to a drop box by 8pm today, Seattle.
Gill: All 100 senators last week passed a non-binding resolution condemning any pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. They're simultaneously considering confirming the guy who met with her and moved her to a low-security facility as the top cop in the United States. That is so insane to me.
RFKJr claims Lyme disease was created by scientists, which is the closest he’s come to admitting that science exists. Meanwhile, Ötzi the Iceman, who died more than 5.3K years ago, had Lyme disease. Apparently prehistoric humans are part of the conspiracy. Get me off this timeline

Blanche will pass through committee today While Senate Republicans expect to have the votes to confirm him, Senate Majority Leader John Thune noted that there are the usual undecided memebers :Collins & Murkowski. Even if they vote against, Blanche will be confirmed @deadder.bsky.social
The Spokane fire conspiracy theories are almost identical to the Altadena fire conspiracy theories. These people have no understand of how fire works, how science works, or why some things burn. I'm writing a book chapter about it, but the people who need to read it don't read books.
The internet is filled with really dumb people who right now think the fires in Spokane WA were fake because the houses burned but trees didn’t. What they’re forgetting is that dead, thin, dry wood burns. Wet, dense, living wood is harder to burn. Old living pine and house vs fire: house loses.
No to any election deniers. No to attempting to hand in FAKE ELECTORAL SLATES. That's a double-edged sword....hurts us all. Hurts the states and the country as a whole. WIN ON MERIT/the people's votes, not cheating. Thankful Mike Pence is loyal to democracy and denied corruption.
I’m old enough to remember when lying about adultery was worthy of impeachment. Feels quaint at this point.
