M6.1 earthquake off the coast of Cuba felt across Florida!
Another Florida anomaly happened today! I got woken up from my pre-work snooze by an earthquake shaking the bed! I’ve never felt one before. It was a 6.1, 450 miles away, but the crust in this area transfers quake energy very efficiently. It felt like I was in bed on a cruise ship in strong waves.
I traded my work shift and managed to register! If you aren’t registered for BFC yet, good luck on Saturday! I advise everyone be ready on desktop with good wifi, hit refresh on the attendance tab exactly on time, and accurately fill all required info slowly & correctly. Their reg update helped. ❤️

Will try posting more pics of things I do. Had a fun weekend fishing and shrimping with @razrskarr.bsky.social and @slydiaps.bsky.social in my happy place, the intercoastal lagoon. We caught a lot of different species and we got to take home 9 speckled trout, tons of shrimp, and some blue crabs.
