I know it’s so pedantic, but I hate it when people throw toga parties and then wear a Greek chiton off Amazon with, like, a gold meander pattern. That’s why I always teach my students how to tie a proper bedsheet toga—because Rome.

Coincidentally, I just treated a sticky fan in our 26-year-old Sub-Zero refrigerator. Took out the fan, lubricated it, put it back in, et voilà. The whole thing is built like a tank and I love it.

Despite its ironically terrible design and typography, I’m amazed the Adobe Legal Department Style Guide was created and is still posted. It coincided with all my licensing work there, and it had a big influence on me! It’s imperfect of course, but still full of good advice.

And I would have about 100 fewer bottles in my house!

WSJ op-ed page doesn’t like the answers science found, so it attacks National Academies, and also looks like incorrectly wrote C02 not CO2 in their subheadline. The National Academies are a national treasure and the staff are brilliant professionals. Leave them alone.

Driving a manual vehicle is a lost art. Hopes of a revival have fallen flat. With the rise of EVs and autonomous vehicles, only a few die-hards are holding on.
