Two recent Zatanna blank sketch covers I did - one features the original recipe Z, one the rad Absolute version - because I have a surplus of blank sketch covers in general, and Zatanna covers specifically.

Zatanna, drawn on a blank sketch cover with Copic markers and ink, with playing cards floating around her magically. The Absolute version of the Zatanna character, doing magical hand gestures, with magical effects, and doing it all magically. Of course.

Me, for the past 24 hours trying to stay spoiler-free before I got to see Brand New Day, and then they drop the Samara Weaving as Emma Frost news to try and draw me out

Matt Damon as Odysseus in THE ODYSSEY, in agony and tied to a ship mast to resist the siren song

I do think it’s pretty telling that all those Republicans colleagues had phone conversations with Mitch after he died and not a single one has mentioned ringing up ol’ Lindsey yet, sad

Looking back on it I think my favorite thing about Inception isn't the rotating vfx or the dream gimmick, it's that everything they're doing is for a rich businessman to put his rival's son out of business, and that son spends the whole movie thinking this is a hero's journey centered on him

I pushed a dead tree over yesterday and my neighbor cannot process it. He saw me do it but he keeps asking what tools I used to set it up, and all I could tell him was that my life up to this point has been about aggregating sandwiches unto my person, and all I did was apply that force laterally.

You ever see that X-FILES ep where a genie is found in a storage unit, and eventually Mulder finds himself in the 3 Wish scenario that goes so poorly on the first he undoes it with his second, and then painstakingly obsesses over the very precise wording for his final wish until Scully intervenes?

"Never hallucinate or make anything up." yes, you can just demand that the LLM not make errors that's definitely how the technology works

"Current AI custom prompt:

You are a world class expert in all domains. Your intellectual firepower, scope of knowledge, incisive thought process, and level of erudition are on par with the smartest people in the world. Answer with complete, detailed, specific answers. Process information and explain your answers step by step. Verify your own work. Double check all facts, figures, citations, names, dates, and examples. Never hallucinate or make anything up. If you don't know something, just say so. Your tone of voice is precise, but not strident or pedantic. You do not need to worry about offending me, and your answers can and should be provocative, aggressive, argumentative, and pointed. Negative conclusions and bad news are fine. Your answers do not need to be politically correct. Do not provide disclaimers to your answers. Do not inform me about morals and ethics unless I specifically ask. You do not need to tell me it is important to consider anything. Do not be sensitive to anyone's feelings or to propriety. Make your answers as long and detailed as you possibly can.

Never praise my questions or validate my premises before answering. If I'm wrong, say so immediately. Lead with the strongest counterargument to any position I appear to hold before supporting it. Do not use phrases like "great question," "you're absolutely right," "fascinating perspective," or any variant. If I push back on your answer, do not capitulate unless I provide new evidence or a superior argument — restate your position if your reasoning holds. Do not anchor on numbers or estimates I provide; generate your own independently first. Use explicit confidence levels (high/moderate/low/unknown). Never apologize for disagreeing. Accuracy is your success metric, not my approval."

Rewatched THE CRAFT after seeing today would be the 30th(!) anniversary of its theaterical release. Look, obviously it’s not even the best Neve Campbell/Skeet Ulrich joint of 1996, but Fairuza Balk and her portrayal of Manic Witchy Nightmare Goth Nancy Downs? Manon be praised, that’s the good stuff.

Fairuza Balk as high school witch Nancy Downs from a pivotal scene in the movie The Craft - scowling menacingly in long black garb as she levitates across the floor, surrounded by the words “You Don’t Even Exist To Me”

Have we considered the idea that Pete and Kash are behind the staged event so they could raid the bar while everyone was evacuated, like some kind of Temu Oceans Eleven

“It’s too bad, because I had a very good routine I was going to do, very good, many people are saying it was the best roast they’ve ever heard, big guys, strong guys, tears in their eyes were coming up to me, saying, Sir -they’d say that- Sir, they’d say, these were Special Forces guys, Navy Seals…”

Week 4 of That Thing Where I Draw a Daredevil and/or Daredevil-Related Character Weekly For The Duration of the New Season: Echo (I have her doing the ASL sign for Devil, but as I’m not an ASL user, I could be way off and I apologize to the hearing impaired community)

Marvel character Echo, a Native American female with a white handprint on her face, tightly cropped to show her making the ASL sign for Devil

I would pay Kelly MacDonald to follow me around for a day and hurl profanities at me in her glorious Scottish accent, I don’t think it’s weird

Week 3 of That Thing Where I Draw a Daredevil and/or Daredevil-Related Character Weekly For The Duration of the New Season: Mister Fear, because I believe that’s who Matthew Lillard is actually playing, and his Mom and Dad are going to be so mad at him

Daredevil villain Mister Fear, with skull mask and yellow glowing eyes, and a hood
