Idk I’m an associate editor at an American Studies journal & while the journal is known for exacting peer review (articles almost never get accepted on 1st or even 2nd round) the review process is serious, generous, labor intensive and designed to be helpful. It usually makes for better essays

Anton Jäger’s Hyperpolitics is a bad book, devoid of substance and analytical purchase, not even functional as provocation. It is best to simply ignore it, and direct additional scrutiny towards those who speak of it positively.
