If you're fortunate, you'll work a job you enjoy, but it shouldn't be the core source of your artistic/creative drive. Not in this economy.

The job market is still horrendous at the moment, but you're doing yourself a grave disservice if you're not seeking out the more niche areas of CG/Animation. (1/3)

Back when I decided to make a fully playable piano as an interactive prop for my Unreal Engine 5 interior/apartment visualization. Everything from the piano model to the blueprints and UI elements were created from scratch. It was tedious, but satisfying 😌 (I had to play "Dearly Beloved" of course.)
Fuck yea! I just did 60 push-ups in a row! Also, following an hour of walking downtown! After the shitty past couple of weeks I've had, I'm taking any win I can get 🙂↕️

Making new friends in your mid-thirties is rough. Making new friends in your mid-thirties while living with Celiac issues is near impossible. Forget the dating-related issues (I've all but given up on that), but every activity ends in/involves food at some point, especially when you live near NYC.
If I can do this while talking about woodworking I’ll be set with the little idea I have but we will see how it works out
