Factio Republicana delenda est. As Cato the Elder so very aptly & presciently put it over 2175 years ago, the Republican Party must be destroyed. In point of fact, it is long past time to burn the Republican Party to the ground.
No offense, but if Alabama wants to secede from the Union, and we put that to a vote in all the other states, I would have to think long and hard before voting against it. And I’m not sure I would. So that’s what I would say to my favorite stupid senator, Tommy Tuberville.

Yes, absolutely agreed, but I also wish to point out that damn well needs to work both ways, period. I have no tolerance for that principle working in only one direction. & that means, among other things, that James Carville is out. At his own request. Same for any other Dem, left, right or center.

If it means I end up voting for candidates outside my comfort zone, so be it. The GOP has become a cancer; an existential threat to the Republic. We need to unite against it.
Any Democratic Senators doing that at this point should be primaried and removed from office. At this point, the one bite rule is no longer applicable. In my opinion, at this point one is either part of the problem or part of the solution. One can’t be both.

I think we can all see a pattern here. You don’t have to be a patent attorney to see this pattern. All you have to do is read the tea leaves that are plainly laid out in front of you, unless you’re one of the zombie cult members who does not believe in observable reality. IOWs, a Republican shill.

Honestly, I think everyone who’s not in a cult already knows this. Those in a cult don’t believe reality, observable facts around them or anything else, so consequently do not care, & are beyond anyone’s reach. That’s where we are. The split in the country is about 50-50. With luck we might survive.

IMHO, another word for this Good pastor is “stupidfuck.” I haven’t checked my dictionary recently, but I’m pretty sure that’s the most accurate & truthful word in that particular book with respect of this particular Good pastor, whose values seem oddly Nazi-like. If you know what I mean. No offense.

Mark, I think I can answer that one: Someone might conceivably print that because even at this point, they’re simply too stupid to understand how ridiculous is this entire article & its core premises (stated and unstated). No other explanation comes to mind, although conceivably another may exist.

For the record, I did & do think that Bill Barr was “so bad“ as US AG. What I really thought was that Bill Barr was as bad as it could possibly get. And it is not at all clear that I was wrong about that. Mitchell was just a straight up crook, and not very good at it. Todd Blanche seems the same.

Elon Musk is planning to spend at least $100 million to help Republicans in this year’s midterms. That’s just 0.014 percent of his current $702 billion net worth. Oligarchs can rig the system at the expense of everyone else, and only spend pennies doing so. We must get Big Money out of politics.
It cannot be said often enough that Senator Josh Hawley and Senator Tom Cotton are both unctuous pricks. Each time I hear or see either of them speak, I immediately think that that one is the most disgusting senator on the planet. Later on, when I see or hear the other speak, I change my mind.
