late teens for me, i'd say. it kinda started with a random demigirl stamp on deviantart, after years of feeling off. basically gave me the permission to not be a girl completely. not long after i sort of figured i actually didn't have much of a gender at all? or if i do, it's a mess.

I'm always so curious about when trans and nonbinary folks realized what they were. Like, my wife didn't realize she was genderfluid until well into her twenties, but I knew I wasn't a girl or a boy before I was even ten years old.

English has plenty of nifty features, but one omission that's always struck me is the lack of a distinct word for the 24-hour-period "day", rather than just the daytime period between sunrise and sunset. In Norwegian we have DØGN, (Norse: "dǿgn"). It sort of sounds like "deign".
