It is funny that this person thinks “immigrants defended the union while native born whites sought to destroy it in the name of slavery” is an argument against immigrants being Americans. This is precisely the point, nothing about being born here makes you better bsky.app/profile/aphc...

Another datapoint for the fascist radicalisation of institutional pillars of much of the American Right

“Should we let AI automate AI research?” No obviously not. Don’t be a dipshit? “Because of the singularity, right?” You thought your job would be easier if a computer hunted flaws in your code. And now you want that same computer to be in charge of science. Do you have brain damage?

Take control of the metaphors and you take control of the system. Unfortunately, the metaphors that have organized a successful build out for this industry motivate further displacement of agency. The story demands an independent, rational agent emerges, so that what everyone thinks to build.

Been watching PsychOdyssey and wow episode 11 beautifully captures that anxiety when sharing new creative ideas with others. You’re excited, you think you have something, but sharing is a risk—what if everyone thinks it’s dumb?

So, what happens if I'm a parent and I know that my kid needs highly paid teachers, a library full of books with diverse characters, trans-inclusive bathrooms and extracurriculars, and a curriculum unpacking topics like systemic racism, colonial oppression, economic inequality, and climate change?

Facebook post from the U.S. Department of Education, saying "Parents know best" with a picture of a cartoon White, two-parent, heteronormative family, featuring a dad in a tie and sweater vest and a mom in a dress and pearls.

This is the argument of a complete dipshit. “Yes I destroyed the boat that those children were in, but I’m not responsible for them drowning in the ocean because anyone else could have come by and given them a new boat.” Psychopath dipshit reasoning

Disgusting, monstrous dude. It’s also notable how viscerally he seems to hate Mackenzie Scott, who continues to indisputably prove that the wealth hoarding guys like Musk do is a (structural and personal) choice!!

Thursday's Weather Rating: 10/10 A DREAM!!! High temperatures reach near 80° F this afternoon with mostly sunny skies, low dew points and a nice northwest breeze. It doesn't get better than this in the middle of summer. The vibes are immaculate out there today!!
