Apparently there are heated arguments among OpenMandriva maintainers about whether to package COSMIC or GNOME and Davide Beatrici turned to crime to undo the packaging progress. It probably should not be, but it is hilarious to me.

Colorado Age Attestation bill update: Participants submitted proposed changes including improved consumer privacy and exempting open source software. Sen. Ball responded this morning that they'll now draft potential amendments. We're making progress.
Today, I met with Colorado Sen. Ball, co-author of CO OS Age Attestation Bill SB26-051. Sen. Ball suggested excluding open source software from the bill. This appears to be a real possibility. No illusions, it's an uphill battle, but we have an open door to advocate for the open source community.

I saw someone claiming that this is short-sighted and that someone should fork it without the new policy, since it would develop at "5×" the current rate. Genuinely, if you think you can fork RedoxOS, and long term improve its development by a 5× for more than the attention span of a grifter, do it.

Godot's GitHub has increasingly many pull requests generated by LLMs and it's a MASSIVE time waster for reviewers – especially if people don't disclose it. Changes often make no sense, descriptions are extremely verbose, users don't understand their own changes… It's a total shitshow. #godotengine
