Gentle reminder from a harm reduction worker. Narcan is made to reverse fentanyl toxicity. Not veterinary sedatives. Oxygen to the brain is imperative. A slow medium breath every 5 seconds. You want to watch for the chest to rise. If it doesn’t check your seal around the mouth.

Medetomidine means you’re more likely going to need to do breaths or CPR these days. Oxygen to the brain is imperative to avoid brain damage. Someone should have a minimum of 1 breath every 5 seconds
