I lost regular freelancing work because my client insisted I used AI to write copy (I didn't, but their AI detecting software said I did). This is a great thread with an excellent example of why these detectors cannot be trusted.

Ducktor Nald@ducktornald.bsky.social · 4d agoThe trans Parker art trend is funny because on one hand the way J.J. is written by fans is heartwarming, on the other you know, you all know, it's the one variant Disney Marvel would never officially show. He can be a car though.
I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.
