It has been a while between drinks. Prior to NE I had a wee 'beer brand' called Southstar. It served as a name for the collab brews I was doing with brewers like Kereru, Liberty and Twisted Hop, and a year ago Cell Division.

My attempt to promote an English IPA while engaging with the history rather than glossing it. Of course one can't use the term IPA anymore as that means something totally different to most of the market so 'Old India Ale'

LBQ is a pub close to our hearts. In an act of symmetry we are brewing a batch of Sceptred Warrior, one of our first beers from the first age of Southstar back in 2012.
Another decocted lager. This one is meant to be an extra herb Northern German style pilsner but my rustic set up seems more attuned to Bohemian and Franconian style lagers. Delicious but more country style than Jever.
