i cannot implore you enough to use respiratory protection that *really works* for what you’re facing. yes, the best mask is the mask you’ll wear, but when conditions are this bad, know that not all tools are created equal. if you can access something better and are able to wear it, it’s worth it.

I went to furpoc for the first time last year and when I was in the dealer's den, I stood off to the side for a minute (I love cons but they're very overwhelming to me). These two people walked by and I suddenly smelled piss. They were at least 6 feet away from me and I was wearing a facemask.
