trails in the sky more like trails you should BUY AM I RIGHT FELLAS

i do think it's funny that i'm bringing up Rune Factory this much when i haven't actually played the latest one yet despite it being over a year old i think i heard they simplified some stuff so i just never got around to it

it's interesting that Fields of Mistria saw Rune Factory's struggles with the last bachelors/bachelorettes taking quite awhile to unlock and seemingly chose to make it worse

it feels weird how much of a focus combat has in Fields of Mistria since it's incredibly barebones like you're incentivized really heavily to go into the caves daily, which involves fighting, but only one skill tree is devoted to that and like 10 are devoted to things you're just passively doing

there's that one anti-vaping commercial that talks about how "you could be vaping formaldehyde, which is used in TAXIDERMY" and i hate it so much just say what's bad about it, something being used in taxidermy doesn't necessarily make it bad for you, and if it does then why would i know that

Fields of Mistria is pretty good so far but i wish it had more variety for the combat sections instead of just "caves" i think Stardew Valley might've been like that and that's why it's doing that? but i wish they would've copied Rune Factory's homework instead

the steam controller has convinced me that all controllers should have back buttons that can be mapped to the sticks so i never have to click a stick ever again

messed up that i'm getting to the part of FF7 Rebirth where i don't feel comfortable playing more because i fear that several cutscenes will play in sequence
