Sorry for not many updates as of late. Just been busy with life stuff and personal projects I can't show yet. I will be getting back into making pixel art that I can show later, but we'll see how soon that'll be.

Kane learned how to use blender at the age of 14, made a very successful YT series, and directed his movie as the youngest director in A24, and they still have the gall to ask him if he would use AI. Delusional. The guy bodies AI bros and their flimsy excuses of “ART IS HARD TO LEARN”.

People like Kane and many many others that do care about human art and the creative process have been a beacon of hope while trying to navigate making art in this current climate.

Interviewer: I read that you do not want to embrace Al.

Kane: Absolutely not.

For me the whole point of doing what I'm doing-art is a way of processing life. I don't see the value in outsourcing any element of that.

When I'm looking at someone else's project, if I see an element of the environment [where] they use generative fill or whatever to change something about the scene, it just shuts off the part of my brain that wants to know more about that world. Because I would assume if they're willing to make an arbitrary choice there, they could make an arbitrary choice with literally anything.

Sorry for the late update on this, but sorry for being silent and not posting much. I'm just complete drained and exhausted from everything going on in the news and in my personal life. I'm still working on pixel art and other projects, it's just difficult to motivate myself to keep going.

I was thinking about this earlier this week. The Steam Frame is an ARM based PC running SteamOS using Proton and Fex. I was thinking, could the Steam Deck 2 being an ARM based system, like we see with those handhelds like the Odin 3? I think it'll be really cool if that's the case, given how ARM is.

I think DLSS 5 is something that actually ruins what is already there. A good example is in the football game, where they have the spatial aliasing effect on the jersey, but then apply it to everyone as if that's the pattern for the jersey. None of the examples look good to sell people on this.

I don't often talk about my numbers and all of that, but last time I checked, I just barely broke 300 followers. What happened? Did I miss something? Thank you to all the new followers who are here!! Sorry for the lack of new art or updates in awhile, just been busy with life and projects.
