Just letting y'all know that the mods for the Twitch Creator Clubs refused to remove a transphobe from their server because the behavior didnt happen in the server itself despite it breaking the Twitch Community TOS. πŸ™ƒ I should be fine since this didnt happen in the server, right? (:

Screenshot from a ticket that Silas submitted to the Twitch Creator Clubs regarding Yukiwaru, a lolicon vtuber that was spewing transphobic rhetoric.

Stremnilo, a CC staff, response: "Currently, our server guidelines allow Twitch Creator Club Staff to take action on behavior that either occurs on this discord server or has resulted in in enforcement on Twitch itself. There is a separate internal team at Twitch that handles all on-service and off-service reports. We strongly recommend that you report any incidents that occur on Twitch using the on site report button and flow. Also on Discord, we'd encourage you block users that you do not wish to interact with on the server. In all cases, if users receive enforcement from Twitch, we reserve the right to remove them from the Creator Clubs."Same screenshot from first picture with continued alt text to convo:

Silas responds: "It's really disappointing to hear this honestly and inherently makes this an unsafe space for marginalized people, but especially for trans people in this situation. Allowing someone that can spew hatred towards a group of people who are already the target of so much hate to continue to promote that they are part of the Creator Clubs is truly upsetting. Blocking this person will not do anything to stop this person from continuing to spread harmful rhetoric that impacts both myself and my community negatively. Only being willing to act if someone does something in the server when this is a group made for Twitch, and is based on how we act on twitch, is astounding. I can't wrap my head around the fact that this has Twitch's name in it, yet there is no action to be taken against someone that engaged in "topics that are harmful to members of the community" (pulled from the rules here) simply because it was on *Twitch* and not in the *Twitch* Creator Clubs server. Everything about my being is misaligned with this person, and evidently my morals are also misaligned with the Twitch Creator Clubs as well, if these are the sort of people you are willing to allow into this space. For my own safety and the safety of my community, I will be leaving so I do not have to risk being in the same proximity as this person. I hope in the future you all will make this a safer space for those of us that are already in desperate need of it."

Please boost this because this is a HUGE ISSUE. The developers Mandragora have refused to note that GenAI was used in the development of #ReStory, going against Steam TOS in doing so. Several users have brought this to their attention via Steam and the use was denied each time. - 1/5

Going to do a small apology, I didn't know. @tinybuildgames.bsky.social sent me a game key for ReStory by Mandragora the other day. I streamed it. It has since come to my attention they are using undisclosed generative AI in their work. The image included is a Steam wallpaper.

City background for ReStory, includes 4 character art in the foreground. The background however contains a sidewalk that goes up to the building hovering over the road.

Here's the thing about accessibility: When you choose to post something inaccessibly, you are choosing to tell disabled people "this is not for you". It is that simple. No alt text? Shitty fonts? A wall of emojis? ASCII art? Visually impaired people are not welcome.
