I’m obsessed with The Vampire Lestat show? I’ve read all of these books (most of them a few times through at that,) and I continue to be amused with how they’ve chosen to structure/adapt the material.

I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

Kinda in a weird place with this one, it’s definitely my most anticipated game left for the rest of the year, so I don’t really need to hear any more about it lol.

Wrapping up my first read of this book, Capital From Zero. I’ve been doing a chunk of pages each day since I got it, being careful to pace myself as frankly the material is presently VERY accessibly, but is often worth ruminating further on. I recommend it. (@brianbergstrom.bsky.social translated!)

Hopefully the last chapter of the current dental saga, last week the dentist did a check up to figure out what caused the issue in the first place and… it’s wisdom tooth fuckery. The dentist thinks he can extract without full surgery, so… I guess that’s what we’re doing this morning 🙃
In the mid/late 90’s, I once got asked to leave the KB Toys at my local mall because of my Ghost in the Shell movie tshirt. It was “too similar” to the “Hook Ups” skater apparel that had become popular, known for featuring busty anime girls, and not welcome at most mall shops not selling them.

While I have my own concerns about aesthetic details, Gibson being satisfied with the production is the thing that has me most excited to finally see Neuromancer adapted. 🤩

In re: X-Men comics: I liked this years The Hellfire Murder a lot more than last years The Hellfire Vigil. A reasonably fun time, with a mystery and resolution that actually made sense. But also after last year the bar was fairly low.
