Keep yelling at them, canceling PS+, and not buying anything from them. They wouldn't even say they are moving forward "cautiously" if they didn't see how this could poison the whole brand.

Incredibly short-sighted to think that one of the most appealing aspects of console gaming simply doesn't matter to your audience, when the most engaged members of that audience are telling you in no uncertain terms that it absolutely does.

16 years ago today, Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown was originally released at arcades in JP. It was developed by Sega AM2 and published by SEGA.
Outrun felt like a meteor strike when it came out. Its legacy may be buried under a mountain of derivative copycats, but before all that—back when it first hit—the actual record he made and the character he created was all Kavinsky doing his own thing, as hard as possible. Nearly wore out the LP.

I just love the slapstick style of Sonic the Fighters so much. It may not be a masterpiece as a game, but no other game in the series quite has the same over-the-top Looney Tunes-esque animations that Sonic the Fighters does, and I’ll always really appreciate the game for that.
