I woke up angry about the Orioles lmao. The barest modicum of success actually had me believing they weren't the "14 Straight Years of Losing Seasons" team any more but it seems that's really all they are at their core.

Bit of good news, bad news for Pepper. The good - Surgery recovery has gone great and she’s cleared to resume normal activities. We took a walk for the first time in a month today and she seemed to really enjoy being out and about again. She also finally got me to play tug of war with her again.

Fun story; I knocked the bumper off of my car driving on the beach to the vacation house. I was considering just pulling it off completely but last night I managed to reattach it (fairly securely imo) using new retainer clips & steel wire. It handled the 7 hour drive home just fine 💪
