The Royal Danish Navy Ship Thetis patrols the North Atlantic under the Joint Arctic Command. Contributing to a safe, peaceful Arctic and to the security of Greenland. The EU is also committed to this goal. It will be front and centre of our upcoming EU Arctic Strategy this autumn.

Greenland’s stunning landscapes and natural beauty will stay with me for a long time. But so will the visible scars of climate change on the ice sheet. As the ice melts, a new reality is taking shape. New trade routes, new security risks, new environmental concerns.
