Even now, it is not broadly accessible through JSTOR or a similar platform, despite the fact that REStat is a fairly well ranked journal, generally considered to be among the top ten economics journals.
One thing I should note for those curious how the academic publishing process works these days is that it took 2.5 years for this paper to get published *from the time the paper was accepted by the journal.*

The city acted to preclude for-profit land owners from leaving land vacant until demand conditions improved by purchasing nearly half of all properties, and almost all destroyed properties, in damaged neighborhoods.
Using a within-block identification strategy, we show that destruction caused lots to remain vacant for the next thirty years. Destroyed lots only recently converged with non-destroyed lots in terms of structure value.
We study the aftermath of the 1968 Washington, D.C. civil disturbance to illuminate the mechanisms that drive urban redevelopment in the presence of low demand and racial tension.

2/ Section 338 authorizes tariffs up to 50% on countries that "discriminate" against US commerce. It has essentially never been used. The last recorded activity was a 1935 finding against Germany that went nowhere.

The fact that VP JD Vance and Richard Grenell went to Romania—on behalf of the Trump Administration— to advocate for Andrew and Tristan Tate, who by all accounts, were rapists running a coercive sex ring, then permitted them to come to Florida, should be a crazy, crazy scandal.
