Went out picking berries with some friends today. We gathered multe (cloudberries) and blåbær (wild blueberries). Norwegian families have their secret multe plots that they usually don’t share with outsiders.

Living alone in the forest, it’s a bit disturbing when all of a sudden you hear voices. I thought someone was randomly coming to my house. Then I realized it must be someone looking at the cabin for sale next door. Apparently, it was the owners of one of the two cabins further down the street.

Welp, yesterday we had one of the hardest rainstorms I’ve ever experienced in my life and today, the road is partially washed out. 😤 The road is still passable, but there are a couple of dicey spots. For the most part, there are deep furrows where the ruts were (mainly on the steepest parts).

Welp, yesterday we had one of the hardest rainstorms I’ve ever experienced in my life and today, the road is partially washed out. 😤 The road is still passable, but there are a couple of dicey spots. For the most part, there are deep furrows where the ruts were (mainly on the steepest parts).

WHY people are so AGAINST programs that HELP people, whether it be food assistance, clean drinking water, affordable healthcare, housing assistance…people are EVIL. FULL STOP.

I made it back to my little gym in Norway. I usually go there around 10 or 11a, but had some other chores first and didn’t make it there until 1:30p. I won’t be doing that again. It’s sooooo much busier at that time.
