I (or rather my wife, for whom it was a gift) own the original of this lovely drawing. I can't wait to have the book and see it in context with all the poetry and other pictures. I hope @tomsbrown.bsky.social and @taliskimberley.bsky.social will be offering signed copies please?

Got quote in for Emberlings from @comicprintinguk.bsky.social (in spite of my putting the pages together in an annoying way) So, the book will go live in the next day or so. Watch this space. Also-Good morning. Here is an Emberling mudlarking.

on a riverside, under a full moon, a witch probed the muddy bank for treasure. Bottles, cups, coins and other found things in the foreground. Pencil drawing with white highlights.

So many classic films are cheaper to buy and own physical media than rent digitally - plus the chance for tasty special features/commentaries etc. Even if, post-watch, you immediately donate it to charity or give it away, still a win!

Stocked up on some Steve McQueen - the Bullitt DVD was cheaper than renting it on Amazon (and has a Peter Yates commentary and 2 feature length docs) and I don’t think Junior Bonner is streaming in the UK.

There can be only… two?! I’ve written a new official book on Highlander for the 40th anniversary - plenty I couldn’t get for the first book inc new interviews, unseen photos, deleted scene coverage… even lifelong fans haven’t heard a lot of this. Published by Titan Books on 1st September!

FUNDED! A new series of perspectives on a classic run of Classic Who. The first book in this range was solid gold, and this follow-up looks equally shiny. #DoctorWho fans, this is REALLY worth a look.

The kickstarter for The DNA of Doctor Who: The Graham Williams Years from Roundel Books is nearly funded and only went live this morning! Here's @twilightstreets.bsky.social explaining more about the project...
