The reconstructed grave of the Tradescant family is quite something. The Tradescants were a family of 17thC botanists who opened England's first museum open to the public. Today, people are having coffee and tea around this #earlymodern grave. #TombTuesday

The reconstructed grave of the Tradescant family in former St. Mary's Churchyard, Lambeth. Each corner is decorated with a tree relief, and on the front, you can see a hydra (the body of which looks like a dragon with eight snake-dragon-like heads) as well as a large human skull at its feet. In the background you can see the tables of a cafe.

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

Apropos of nothing, to this day I'm annoyed that when the original Sugababes reunited they didn't call their album "Ship of Theseus." Or "Trigger's Broom."

Type the word Theseus in a text editor, then replace each letter in turn with a new copy of that letter. The new Theseus is indistinguishable from the old. I offered this as an insight in a philosophy exam at uni, and got very high marks. It was a complete pisstake.
