Calling lesbians "illiterate" for criticizing an industry that consistently invisibilizes and diminishes our desire is bootlicking. The fact that it's always sapphic art has to bear the burden of portraying nuanced/literary (read: non-sexual) love between women is purity politics.

Is it because we're afraid of "punishment", or because we're more likely to treat people like humans when we can see their faces than when we only see words on a screen? The Internet can definitely dehumanize us, which is undoubtedly contributory to online discourse being so...nasty.

Do not spit on those who have found innumerable ways of making art without stealing from others and polluting the planet. It is disgusting to suggest as much.

It’s actually been interesting being able to say, “this technology stole directly from me, I’m one of the claimants in the Anthropic lawsuit” and watch people get very flustered in person. They know “yeah I want that guy to keep robbing you” sounds, uh, bad.
