More recent comics I have loved: Front End Loader by @bretthamil.bsky.social. This trio of short stories ranges from “How Burl Became a Taoist,” with a punchline that made me LOL, “Goblin,” a relationship story about a strange-shaped penis, to “Lady Stetson,” a longer comic about nostalgia and love.
Recent comics I have loved: Gavin Mackie’s Hunting for Gooblets issue 1. It’s the start of a series, with four chapters of intrepid explorers in a strange land filled with even stranger creatures. It’s a lot of fun and I am looking forward to issue 2!
I recently checked out Billy Bat vol. 1 by Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki, and it’s a great start to the series. It’s got action, intrigue, mysteries, spies, and fantastic art and plotting. Libraries rule!
