Agree with Louis here. I actually remember Langham's appearance on The Muppet Show (subbing for the proper guest who hadn't turned up, I think), doing an owl impression by pulling his jumper over his knees. I thought he was a funny chap. Such a shame he turned out to be a wrong 'un.
Yes, I am sad about Chris Langham dying. What he did was awful. However, his work was a huge part of my formative comic years. Milligan, Muppets, occasionally Tiswas, then People Like Us and that run of things until... When he turned up in something, it was instantly more interesting and fun.
Our kitchen for a while until the Ikea elves install our new one....might be a few takeaways, toasties and soup for a couple of weeks. But at least I don't have to warm the soup up.
Just discovered that I was born in the same hospital as Ronnie O'Sullivan. I did not know that.

Breaking News - Canada to rename their part of Niagara Falls as 'Trump Is A Massive Sweaty Arsehole Who Fiddled With Kids On Epstein Island Falls.' Catchy.
On the bright side, at least Amol Rajan is fucking off out of my television set.

I wonder which of the two West Midlands I live in.
I absolutely love this that someone just posted on linkedin clearly created by AI without even rudimentary checking. Surrey appears to be trying to escape to France. Staffordshire and Oxfordshire have annexed Wales. And Labour are very strong in the county of "Monthiste". Which has never existed.
About to watch the Battle of Bosworth....my money is on Henry.
I once saw a 'Best of Toni Basil' CD that didn't have 'Mickey' on it.
What's the greatest "greatest hits" album ever?
Ok, having listened today, I'm bloody watching it. I'm bloody, bloody watching it! First time in about 40 years and it's still crap. I hope you're happy now....😊 @goonpod.bsky.social
New! SOFT BEDS, HARD BATTLES (1974) With @paullitchfield.bsky.social & @jlimb.bsky.social Peter Sellers got to cosplay as Hitler & 5 other characters in this ill-judged wartime comedy. Stand by for farting Nazis, himself in yellowface & a whirlwind romance with Liza Minnelli! pod.link/1569929507
Fuck the Daily Mail, and fuck anyone who even considers reading it or clicking on one of their hate-fuelled links. Fuck 'em all.
Looking forward to watching this. One of my favourite things ever with a lovely new BFI transfer and some wonderful extras.
