Had a mid pool. Went 1-2-1. One loss was to a dumb mistake but the other was to having a nightmare mana game against a deck with a real and proper bomb. Overall I had fun in almost all of my games. The format is fun but a bit slow. In 15 years of playing this game I’ve never gone to turns in game 2.

Home from work which means we back @antodemico.bsky.social’s Wildhearth Kickstarter (which was already at almost 900K when I got to the KS page Congrats Antonio!). Few things feel as good as supporting real artists in the capitalist hellscape of our current world.
One of my Magic design hot takes is that Green’s connection to general enchantments makes no sense and if I could go back and stop the design momentum at the source Green and White would flip how they interact with enchantments.

If I had a bigger platform I’d have some words about Ocarina that would deeply upset a very large swath of people. The original Ocarina, while a good game, is one of the most overrated games ever made. It just doesn’t hold up to the worship it gets.
