Backgrounds from LIL' ROBOT GIRL (2025), my junior year film at SVA I believe I've said before, all the BGs for LRG were hand drawn on paper, left as pencil line, then scanned and colored digitally. (1/4)

I hate that storyboards have become expected to be final clean animation poses with breakdowns in perfect perspective. this is not how it was supposed to be. let the animators animate! (I say as both a boarder and an animator)

I love how the previous generations of storyboard artists were allowed to draw silly cartoon characters on flat wobbly backgrounds, but now we have to learn how to draw the most realistic anime proportions and perspective ever to even be considered for a job

Matt Selman confirms more info about The Simpsons Movie 2 wil be revealed in Disney's D23 event and Comic Con in 2027 Through he does state there will no Kwik-E-Mart stores to promote it compared to the first movie

Something Rugrats lost as it got more popular was a lot of its Simpsons-level satire and absolutely bonkers concepts. Like, it's easy to forget that the Rugrats universe has consumer-level time machines and Tommy and Chucky once sent a robot gorilla into the past.

More stuff from that visual development class (2024) My main assignment was to create a still for a scene from an original or pre-existing story. I repurposed a story I wrote for a class prior, which was about a woman named Elie moving into a new town and having a supernatural encounter at night.
