The "be the best version of yourself" mindset is super valid/positive but "be a tolerable person at your worst" is more realistic to practice You can't be perfect every day and I know people can recognize that But say unacceptable things during one of your bad days & people may judge you forever
I'm gonna be honest. I'm getting too many friend DMs about unsolicited life updates that are either borderline venting or have a level of neediness that I can't/won't accommodate. I'm too exhausted to be a "diary friend" right now. I'm not your therapist nor the protagonist to your life tragedies😵💫😓

I understand if people want to reach out and keep in touch with a "Hey how are you doing" but it does more harm than good if my "Good! How about you?" response gets left on read (or unread) for months. Like don't bother reaching out to me at all if you're gonna do that 🙄

I honestly do not understand why people season their stainless steel or nonstick baking sheets/trays. Wouldn't it make more sense to do that if it was cast iron?

Can we call a plural form of phallic fruits or vegetables a frotting? Two carrots? A frotting of carrots.
Will FWA be a con full of hurdles and obligation, or a con full of friendship with a proper time to decompress from life? Most of me hopes it'll be the latter but I'm honestly still traumatized by last year's experience
