I miss friends. Friends who don’t have their social time consumed by their childrens’ social lives. I even miss the friends that used to talk to me because I was on Facebook and it was convenient and don’t bother to look me up since I quit it. Dreamt about school friends for 3 nights in a row.

My favorite candle place is no longer making candles and candle season is nearly upon us… *sobs* … in short, if anybody knows of woodsy/smokey/natural spices kinds of smells (nothing like blueberry muffin or bouquet of flowers plz) done in soy wax (I’m allergic to beeswax) that don’t cost a kidney?

That book I got on colored pencil technique is good, but I’m surprised at how little new to me info is in there. Good portion of the book is spent on color theory and composition and welp. I went to school for all that.

This👇🏼 perfect peacock butterfly gave me such a lift. To me peacock’s eye spots are exquisite -mesmerising & ever so slightly frightening. They’re designed to distract & startle birds. Perhaps I’m part bluetit & have never realised i👀:

All this Covid denier bullshit has me really cranky. Read a comment that sums it up for me. They didn’t just want to win, they wanted to be right. And they may have won but they weren’t right. Denial is a helluva drug.
