decided to finally use my new pc for something that ISNT 25 years old. very nice to be able to run everything at max settings and have the pc still running cooler than my laptop when just browsing good time to start the replays ahead of revelation anyway. next new game isn't for 2.5 weeks anyway

thoughts, but too lazy to make a full blog post. pros: - character writing is absolutely peak for major and minor characters alike - overarching plot in general is solid and cohesive - is a really good setup for a pillar ongoing series - 2d combat fun - exploration VERY fun

33. kyoto xanadu: the blooming phantom excellent, imo. i liked the exploration and smaller scale, as well as the overall writing, esp for characters. it's a good setup game that could use some polish in a few areas (3d combat, enemy variety, etc). it felt fresh, looking forward to a follow-up!

Without naming names, this is absolutely happening with J>E locs, even and especially from devs/pubs that used to have a rock solid reputation. A lot of companies are bleeding talent, both in-house and freelance, as they either leave for what few green pastures remain or quit the field entirely.

Already noticed some AAA games from the last few years slipping in quality due to the attack on labourers by the wealthy class and uh... I think gamers need to know it's gonna keep deteriorating in small ways, not a big bang Games will still drop for a while, but they'll be quietly worse

i know it's probably because i put so many hundreds of hours into persona, trails, tx, modern fe, and other games of this nature... but i really have very little complaints about the pacing in kyoto xanadu? like sure, there are some things that could be improved, but it's fine

okay, my thoughts!! i mean, it's not surprising that they put on a good show, because they always do and their stage presence is part of why i love seeing them live at every opportunity i have. i do think at some points, the backtrack was overpowering them (and they were FIGHTING that part too)

hilariously the first one is probably the "worst" of them since it was the most lowkey production and the budget was definitely higher later, both for the stage layouts and the costumes, also, you don't get to see ryoji or a lot of the strega stuff which. chef's kiss in wm. but it's fine

what do you mean atlus actually put up the entire first p3wm shows for both the male and female protag versions on youtube.... but it's also only "limited" "don't you already own the p3wm dvds AND the ost" yes but i like convenience. i also wish they'd be properly subbed for other people 😔
