There's some terrible moderators on the Katmai Bear cam forums - you are given a time out if you discuss science. It's seemingly just for twee chat about 'cute' bears.
From today, EU citizens have a legal right to know when they're talking to a bot or looking at a deepfake, backed by fines of up to €15m. Thanks to Brexit, we're missing out on this protection.

Oh man. I'd completely forgotten about the BBC2W Ivor The Engine promos. All new, with Oliver Postgate and Anthony Jackson returning. They're up there with the Palin-voiced Clangers series in terms of bringing something back and it being just *right*. Here's one.

The Daily Express' headline compared with what the "bombshell poll" they're reporting actually found
France calls out the U.S. at a UN meeting: “The US used to be a beacon of human rights. Not anymore. Today, it stands alongside North Korea, Nicaragua, Mali and Russia. Isolated. And the world no longer listens to it.” U.S. representatives stormed out of the meeting. Well said France! 👏🏼🇫🇷👏🏼
I was not informed by the BBC that they would have a right wing political figure or lobbyist on after me to rebut what I said. The individual in question went on to spout lies about China, etc. to distract attention from the Trump administration's assault on climate action. This is unacceptable.
I'll be on BBC News television TODAY ~3:40pm ET (8:40pm London local time) to discuss--what else---the climate change-fueled weather extremes we're seeing around the world this summer. Please join me: www.bbc.com/live
Apparently, there's a movie centred around #SoulTrain stuck in development hell.
I heard tell this was almost the theme they were going to use for Portillo's train show way back when. Great Railway Journeys. They should've gone with it: youtu.be/3Awey7AbXT0

I've got so many courgettes I've began eating them raw on a salad. The local food bank will be inundated with them too. Anyone who grows a few plants must have some spare. When I was a teenager, I worked for a few weeks on a farm where we picked courgettes of all sizes. £2 and change an hour.
Lots of happy children at the allotment today, lovely to see. Seemingly quite excited to be there too.
Before today I'd not heard of Senator Bernie Moreno &now I have seen him in action and read about him he appears an quite awful human being. Sold out his principles to further his political career. People like him need to be, not only voted out, but hopefully imprisoned as a deterrent to others.
Well, I asked for rain. Received some light drizzle for maybe 30 minutes or more. I'm soaked through and I left the washing out. Still cheered it though. It's wet the surface to maybe 1mm.

EVERYONE! I cut mu finger and there was loads of blood. I need loads of attention and sympathy! I can't believe I was so stupid... again. I should be used to it.
You see this frontpage and do genuinely wonder what on earth the conversation must have been between the senior editors when they were laying it out...
In the 14 years of Tory rule, they cut the fire service by 12,000. Andrew Bowie has the brass neck to criticise the Scottish government response. Absolutely no shame, disgusting for the BBC to offer a platform whilst we're dealing with a disaster. Anything to undermine Scotland. Fuck you Andrew 🖕
