if you don't have any money, you too can support artists by liking and sharing their work, telling your friends about them, reminding them to eat, taking out their trash, doing their dishes, watering their plants, feeding their pets, please help i need adult supervision—

I just want to remind everyone this is happening because Trump cut funds for the CDC program that tracks food contamination outbreaks(and the screw worm problem we still have) so they dont spread. It not only didnt help the cost of living crisis its actively harming people. Dont let MAGA forget this

Given the lack of details provided by Taylor Farms thus far, Consumer Reports' food safety experts are advising folks in the 27 states implicated by the recall to discard ALL iceberg lettuce until we know more about where the parasite-linked products ended up www.consumerreports.org/health/food-...

A map of the 27 states impacted by the recall: AL, AR, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI.

I’m sure I’m being dramatic here, but I’ll say it anyway: there’s something insidious about making creatives constantly jump in front of a camera to define their worth and ask you to support their art whether it is for a grant application or having people film you at events even if you don’t want it

I still struggle with this! I very much know it’s true, but it clashes with my desire to make beautiful polished things because i *like* to make them such. I love the craft! But… Craft doesn’t matter for much if it never gets *done*. So. I’ll keep working to find a happy personal balance.

If you want to make an animation or comic, it doesn't need to look like a mega polished professional production. Some of the best shit is sketchy, weird, and messy as hell- early internet toons kinda looked like shit (GOOD!) and we loved that stuff. What matters is if it's evocative or not I think
