Twitch has ultimately become the most unwatchable platform I've ever been on. 6 minutes of ads before you can even catch a glimpse of a stream. Literally no point in doing any discovery for streamers when you're constantly watching ads.

What's the deal with marketing on social media for #indiedev now? Everyone is still using old methodologies and it seems like this is no longer the path to success. Twitter is awful. Bsky is only devs. YouTube hardly ever pushes videos. What's the deal?
I was going to fly to NYC for a job offer early December. I introduced a recruiter to my former colleague. My flight was cancelled, and my job was closed. Fast forward 3 weeks and the colleague got the job. Note to self: Being a bridge-builder only works if you’re already on the other side. ☠️
