Ah, they are threatening weapons purchased by the Allies. If this is the case, then the contracts should be cancelled and reimbursed to the relevant MOD. But it really underscores how much nothing this administration is doing for Ukraine that it has no leverage of its own.

"Megadinghies" carry more poeple, and there are fewer boats, Mr McIvor. There have perhaps been five "megadinghies". I can't type fast enjough to deal with your lies, and the failure of the rest of the panel to answer them. #PoliticsLive

This would also impressively mean scrapping the subsidy for air con, Proudly announce year ago, just before it goes live. I’ve just been dealing with an engineer who’s just taken investment to launch his own small business next year to install all this!

I don't really know what to say about the fact HM Treasury can't seem to get its head around the fact that heat pump grants are industrial policy not household subsidy. It doesn't signal great depth of policy thinking. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Confirmation that a Reform UK government would mean Ice-style mass roundups and deportations. In fact, in one way the Reform plan would go further than Trump, in retrospectively stripping rights from people granted asylum as long as five years ago and tracking them down for removal.

Farage pledges to shut down asylum system

Reform to declare a ‘national security emergency’ and deport 90,000 migrants immediately Nigel Farage has pledged to impose a five-year ban on migrants being granted asylum and to deport 90,000 applicants immediately.

In his most stringent border policy to date, the Reform UK leader will declare a “national security emergency” and announce a suspension of all asylum tribunals, legal refugee routes and resettlement schemes.

The policy, which Mr Farage will announce on Monday, would mean tens of thousands of applicants would be immediately deported and any refugees granted asylum in the last five years would have their cases reviewed by the Home Office.

Of course they are the same thing. No Man City investment means no Manchester investment. There cannot be one without the other. What he needs to call out is the absurdity of the premier league. Oh, and declare his meetings with Ratcliffe et al concerning the upcoming Old Trafford development.

It’s v heartening to see the support for Ukraine from many prominent Americans, including many Republican members of Congress, who are planning to introduce legislation to stop the US from buying Russian oil. America is genuinely awful under Trump, but it is not (yet) a complete lost cause.

Six months after Stowmarket’s £5.5m footbridge opened, its lifts are still not working. Passengers are missing trains, with disabled people and those with reduced mobility particularly affected. I’ve repeatedly raised this with Greater Anglia and will continue pressing for action.
