Very obviously, there’s no way that Bonehill-Paine could be dumped as a candidate after the leader had so thoroughly and foolishly backed him this morning. There must have been some tough conversations to get him to voluntarily withdraw, given that his position was obviously untenable.
Well, if I wanted advice on radicalising young men, he seems to me an excellent choice. Also, he’s had a lot of space to explain his position. Including in court.

If Jeremy Corbyn had said what Badenoch has said today, it would be leading every TV and radio broadcast and all of tomorrow's front pages.
It's fairly impressive that Badenoch leads a political party with 3,800 councillors but has the same understanding as to what they do as a random bloke complaining about his Council Tax down the pub.

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
Of course Farage's 'policy' doesn’t work. It isn't intended to work. It's meant to cause a splash in the unthinking press (and GMB) and thereby get Doris at Number 33 Lambert Road, Peterborough to go 'Ooh at last someone is trying to do something about these awful boat crossings.' That's it.

He’s bound to end up joining Reform, he’s so much in common Farage broke MP rules at least 17 times and like all the Reform MPs he was a Tory🤷🏻♂️
Ok, this was apparently a failure to declare an interest during a debate. This will probably go no further than rectification or an apology to the House. Don’t get excited about a recall petition.

So that’s about 47% Labour on the first round, well over double the second place Reform candidate on 21%, I think.

There is no way you close that gap on the second round.

There was more of a case for incitement against Polanski than there is for this by a Reform council leader. And there was no case at all against Polanski. If you’re the leader of a council, then stand behind the decisions you make in Cabinet. That’s the job.
