*Everywhere* used to smell of cigarette smoke. Restaurants are the obvious example that everyone thinks of, but people used to smoke in banks, on buses, airplanes, post offices, movie theaters, and even public schools. Also, it used to be considered normal to drive home completely-ass drunk.

Back when I was religious, I attended this evening Bible study thing that took place in one of those conference rooms people can just reserve I guess. Hilariously enough, in the much larger hall downstairs was reserved for a rave party at the exact same time.
