Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!

Mitsuba is likable in that she almost never says no to a request, not bc she's a pushover but bc she overworks herself bc "thoughts can't catch me if I'm Too Busy". F'mona is extremely friendly and personable, Liesl is a mean and judgemental bitch unless you're pretty, and P'epsi is nice but rowdy

Lol, Lmao. Mitsuba is good AND bad. Mitsuba is ok at lying by omission/redirection, but not very good at outright lies. she thinks she is better than she is bc everyone plays along 🤡 For example, she is good at obscuring her past in Hingashi (until she Goes There) but bad at lying about being fine.
