here's another throwback from 2016 a private poster commission inspired by Moby Dick honestly still really love this one, both the concept and execution i worked on pre-inked scratchboard for this one (so fully black) instead of the usual white claybord that i ink myself 30x40cm

a black and white scratchboard illustration inspired by Mody Dick. It depicts a giant white whale about to collide with a whaling ship. The scene is viewed from a bird's eye view, high above the scene. Seagulls are seen orbiting around the scene. The ship and the whale create waves in the water that reinforce the tension between them.

First time that I got canceled from a client after he saw the finished artwork lol. But there was bad blood anyways after his critique so it’s not a big deal for me. The down side, it is an Zelda breath of the wild cover. Will post it soon.
