Hi hello. I still exist. 👋 I’m making some Japanese knotweed pickles inspired by @blackforager.bsky.social and @foragerchef.bsky.social My friend and I ran into a lot of invasives/medicinals at one of our morel mushroom foraging spots.

Vernal equinox mode, engage! My heart & soul re-entered my body yesterday. Best menty h day of 2026 🥹 Thankful for the spring awakening every year. A fresh start, a lot of growth & changes. Taking some time to imagine the positive future I want for humanity, so that I can fight to make it real.

I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland. And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.
