If you were wondering why I haven't been very active these past two months... Here's the reason! I had the wonderful opportunity of taking Paul Scott Canavan's mentorship class and I had a BLAST learning all sorts of new things about art and improving my workflow. More details in the Alt ✨

The goal of the mentorship this artwork was made for was to learn how to achieve a Magic-the-Gathering quality of rendering, and I really felt like I improved a ton, especially in the process of finding and creating solid references (including in 3D). More than 55 hours were spent into this single piece.
