I see the ‘trauma doesn’t need different teaching’ is doing the rounds again. I don’t often comment because it’s a bit personal but the way some people talk about children really offends me. Some children have already experienced more in their wee lives than we ever will. Some children will have -

This guidance really is a bullies' charter and I don't see how schools can possibly implement it and claim to be inclusive. I'd like to see #EduSky calling @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social out about this. Do colleagues not remember the damage done by Section 28? Does the Labour party not remember ffs?
Reposting this; Labour’s new schools’ “Section 28” for trans kids should really be called Labour’s “Ambient Conversion Therapy”. It is way, way worse than Section 28 ever was. We must never allow anyone to forget Starmer’s & Philippson’s culpability (& Burnham’s if he fails to change it).
