Finished one day late and posting two days late, but I finally made bday art for myself again (last time was 2023) <3 And the first one done in watercolour c: I managed to bake a pie again this year, though I looked nowhere near as put together during the process :'D It had blackberries in it :3

I hope those load bearing followers know how much they mean to artists. Regulars, esp regular commenters that engage your work and story do not go without notice and are to be cherished. It's esp why I try to reply to let them know! (and why I wish I could keep track of any I've missed replying to )

I’m still so heartbroken about the Lies of P sequel man. I’m left here preparing myself for this to happen with more of my favorite game series and it sucks; it’s an inevitability for many of them but I really wish it wasn’t. Keep supporting the works of real humans making real meaningful art.

Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

Working on this Jeholornis, an avian dinosaur from the early Cretaceous in China. It´s enjoying some late season Ginkgo fruit. I added some insects from the Jehol formation as well, but am thinking of adding some more. Any suggestions anyone? Copic Marker and colored pendil on Fabriano paper
